[ Three more from batch 41, Mid ]

Yours will be one of these or their neighbours. Same fold, same blocks, same vat; the cloth decides the rest.
Folded, clamped between square blocks and dipped. White squares, mirrored at every fold.
[ About this piece ]
Free UK delivery over £60. Returns within 30 days.
We fold the linen lengthways and across into a packet the size of the block, clamp a square on each side and dip it. Where the blocks held, the linen stays white; everywhere else takes the blue.
The squares come out a little different every time: crisp on the outside layers, softer and wider deep in the packet, with a fine fringe where the dye crept along the threads.
Itajime, folded and clamped. The cloth is folded into a packet and clamped between two blocks. Where the blocks press, the dye can’t reach, so one clamp prints a whole grid, mirrored at every fold.
Returns within 30 days, unused. How returns work.

Bought two in Mid. They’re heavier than any tea towel I own and the squares are all slightly different, which is the point. Arrived in two days.
Present for my sister who cooks. She’s refusing to use it on actual dishes.
Nothing in your bag yet.
