House rules

What people ask before they book.

Check-in is from 4pm to 8pm. Ring the bell by the red door and one of us will show you up. If your ferry is running late, call us and we will leave your key in the key safe and the hall light on.

Check-out is by 10.30am. You are welcome to leave bags in the hall while you see the island.

The house has no parking of its own. Unload at the door, then park in the Ledaig car park at the south end of Main Street, about five minutes on foot.

Children from 8 years old are welcome. Every room sleeps two, and we have no extra beds or cots.

One well-behaved dog can stay in Ulva by arrangement, for £15 a stay. Dogs stay out of the breakfast room.

Two nights from June to August. One night at any other time.

A deposit of the first night holds the room; the rest is paid on arrival, by card or cash. Cancel up to 14 days before and we return the deposit in full.

There is no lift. Calve and Ulva are 19 steps up, Staffa and Iona 32, and Coll 41. Tell us what you need and we will help where we can.

Please keep the noise down after 10.30pm. No smoking or vaping indoors. We are open from 1 March to 31 October.

A question we have not answered?
