MOUNTAIN & VALLEY

Score 8.0 Rounds 1 persistent 2.3s decay

What it is

Free-rein brief, run unattended (builder #45). Assigned archetype G — illustrated storybook world. Subject chosen from the backbone (see Direction): Mountain & Valley, a (fictional) two-person paper-engineering studio in Norwich that designs the mechanisms inside pop-up and movable books (for publishers), plus one-off pieces (museum books, invitations, cards). Goal: explain + sell commissions: a publisher or museum should leave knowing what the studio makes, how a commission runs, what it costs and how to start one. Content: none supplied. Fictional studio, fictional commissions; real-world facts (history of movable books, Norwich) checked with `scripts/facts.py`. Stack: Vite + vanilla JS, Lenis, three.js for the one paper engine.

This is the build's own brief, kept as it was written. MOUNTAIN & VALLEY is a demonstration build: it is real, it runs, and it is not a client job.

Measured palette

Six colours sampled from the build itself, in the order they were found. They are listed because a palette is a decision, and decisions should be visible.
