NADIR
What it is
Free-rein brief ("a website about anything you want"), assigned archetype A — Dark cinematic tech. Goal: impress (award-level showcase) while reading as a real company site with a working funnel (task a satellite pass). Invented subject: NADIR, a small Earth-observation company flying six satellites at 525 km that images the ground at 50 cm. Audience: scientists, newsrooms, insurers, agronomists. Traits: precise, calm, technical, quietly awe-struck. Content: none supplied. All copy written here; all imagery drawn in code by one procedural terrain + multispectral renderer (clearly footnoted as simulated renders). Real-world facts used in copy (orbit period at 525 km ≈ 95 min, ~15 orbits/day, ground-track speed ≈ 7 km/s, NDVI formula, SWIR sees through smoke, the four real places named) are true. Constraints: Vite + vanilla JS, GSAP/ScrollTrigger, Lenis; multi-page; no network except npm/fonts; software-rendered Chromium for QA.
This is the build's own brief, kept as it was written. NADIR is a demonstration build: it is real, it runs, and it is not a client job.
Measured palette
Six colours sampled from the build itself, in the order they were found. They are listed because a palette is a decision, and decisions should be visible.
