I'm Stefan. I design websites and web apps, then write the code myself, so the page you approve is the page that ships.
One person from the first sketch to the live site. I draw the layout, set the type, build the front-end and the back-end, and stay on after launch to keep it fast.

One page, five passes
- 01
Brief
We start with a call and a page of questions: who visits, what they need, what has to work on launch day.
- 02
Boxes
Every element gets a box before it gets a colour. This is the layout the code will use, not a drawing of it.
- 03
Type
Real words, real fonts, at real sizes. If a headline doesn't fit on a 390 pixel screen, we find out now.
- 04
Colour
Colour, art and photography go in last, on top of a page that already works.
- 05
Live
The same page in the browser with real data. You see every pass on a private link.
Brief · Harbour Line · call notes
- Who visits?Islanders on the pier, on a phone, in the wind.
- What do they need first? The next boat from where they stand.
- What breaks today?A PDF timetable that changes overnight.
- What must work on day one?Tickets for foot, car and freight.
- How will we know it worked?Fewer calls to the harbour office.

Layouts, type, colour and interface design, first in Figma and then straight in the browser. You can click through the real page before any money goes into the code.
Design
Front-ends in HTML, CSS and TypeScript. Back-ends, APIs and databases in Node and PostgreSQL. Accessible, fast, and easy for the next developer to read.
Build
Hosting, updates, privacy-friendly analytics and a monthly check of speed and security. Small changes are done within two working days.

Questions people ask first
- Price.
- A fixed price per project, agreed before work starts. A marketing site usually takes 4 to 8 weeks, a web app 3 to 6 months.
- Time.
- I take two projects at a time, so you get a reply the same working day and a progress link every Friday.
- Code.
- You own all of it. The repository, the design files and the hosting account are in your name from day one.
- Handover.
- Every project ends with a short written guide and a recorded walkthrough, so your team can edit the site without me.
Counted live in your browser. CSS1 (1996) gave every element a margin, a border and padding; CSS2 (1998) added box-sizing.
