How we work
Send a file or come in with a sketch. We separate your artwork into one layer per ink, burn a master for each, and print them one pass at a time. You approve a proof sheet before the run.
Who for
- Bands and labels
- Small publishers
- Festivals and markets
- Cultural venues
- Anyone with fifty good reasons
Riso inks are soy-based and translucent, so a colour printed over another mixes on the sheet. These are the nine drums we keep loaded; screen colours are close, paper is closer.

Munken Pure 120–150g. Warm white, uncoated, drinks ink evenly.
Recycled offset 90–100g. Timetables, zines, anything folded often.
Gmund Colors 120g. Tinted stocks for when the paper is a colour too.
Riso ink stays wet on coated paper, so we print on uncoated stock only. The machine feeds sheets up to A3 and roughly 200g.
First Thursdays, 18–22h

Ink coverage shifts a little across a run and each pass lands a hair differently. Small shifts in register and density are how riso prints look; we keep them within a millimetre or so.
One greyscale file per ink at 600 dpi, or a layered file we separate with you. Black in each file means full ink; greys become halftone.
From about fifty. Each master costs the same whether it prints fifty sheets or two thousand, so runs get cheaper per copy as they grow.
