Pradel, since 1890 in the Gasser family

We are Theresa and Florian Gasser. Pradel is our farm in Coll, a scattering of farms on the sunny side of Villnöss between St. Peter and St. Magdalena. We keep four rooms for guests and serve breakfast in the Stube.

Every room has one deep window in a wall 60 cm thick. Each one looks at something different.

Breakfast is at the corner table by the tiled stove, 7:30–10:00: bread from St. Peter and Schüttelbrot, speck, cheese, eggs from our hens, Theresa's apricot jam.

The valley

THREE SEASONS

Villnöss runs east from the Eisack valley up to the foot of the Geisler. Sass Rigais and Furchetta, its two highest peaks, are both 3,025 m and stand 600 m apart.

Green summer meadows and a path below the Peitlerkofel.

SUMMERJune to August

Walk from the Zanser Alm at 1,689 m to the Gampenalm and the Schlüterhütte, below the Peitlerkofel.

Getting here

BY TRAIN TO KLAUSEN

The Brenner railway from Innsbruck and from Verona stops at Brixen and Klausen. From Klausen station the valley road climbs into Villnöss; we collect you there if you tell us your train.
