What it is

Owner brief: "start with ribbon-planes-hero component and continue on its look and feel to develop into a full site." Subject left open → chosen per the skill (backbone first = the component's source site, digital-design-days-x; then a real subject whose own material carries a ribbon of translucent gradient planes): theatre lighting gels. A fanned swatch book is a ribbon of translucent planes on an arc (see `public/archive/gamcolor-swatchbook.jpg`). Brand (fictional): Gel Library, a colour-filter library and cutting room on King Street, Bristol. Visitors: lighting designers, students, production electricians, photographers. Goal: book an Open Bench evening, order cut filters, learn which filter to ask for. Pages: Home, The Colours, Open Bench, The Sheet, 404. Stack: Vite + vanilla JS, three, GSAP, Lenis. Copy in English (UK).

This is the build's own brief, kept as it was written. Gel Library is a demonstration build: it is real, it runs, and it is not a client job.

Measured palette

Six colours sampled from the build itself, in the order they were found. They are listed because a palette is a decision, and decisions should be visible.
