Triamerican Maintenance — The air in your home,in good handsfor 30 years.

Air conditioning, heat pumps, HVAC and HVAC-R systems, household appliances — serviced, cleaned and repaired.

Triamerican Maintenance

Since 1996 we have looked after the machines that keep the air at home good to breathe: air conditioning, HVAC and HVAC-R systems, household appliances. We come, check, clean, repair — and explain what we did.

What a service looks like

One service,step by step.

The same unit, six moments. On the right, the simulation shows how the air coming out of it changes.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis

We run the unit and listen to it working: how much air it gives, how it sounds, how it smells, whether it drips.

  2. 02

    The filters

We take the filters out and wash them. A clogged filter chokes the whole unit — you can see it at once in the simulation.

  3. 03

    Coil and fan

The coil is washed with cleaning solution; the cross-flow fan is cleaned blade by blade.

  4. 04

    Drain pan and line

We empty and sanitise the condensate pan and check the water leaves through the hose, not down the wall.

  5. 05

    Checks

We check the refrigerant circuit is working and the electrical connections are sound. If we find something, we tell you before we fix it.

  6. 06

    Clean air

The unit starts again, with all the airflow it can give.

01 / 06 — Diagnosis

Relative to the same unit when clean: the fan curve against the resistance of the filter and coil. The same value drives the simulation in the picture.

A magnified section through a filter: the fibres, and the dust caked on the side facing the room. Drag across the dust and watch the air get through.

Air through the filter—%

The airflow comes from the fan curve and the resistance of each row of fibres: dust adds resistance. The same value drives the simulation.

Who we work for

At home andat work.

  1. 01

    Homes

Flats and houses: air conditioning, heat pumps, appliances.

  2. 02

    Offices

Split and central systems for workspaces.

  3. 03

    Hotels

Room air conditioning and central systems.

  4. 04

    Restaurants

Air conditioning in the dining room, refrigeration in the kitchen.

  5. 05

    Light industry

Climate control and refrigeration for workshops and production spaces.

Questions

We recommend at least one service a year, ideally before the season when the unit works hardest. Filters are worth cleaning more often: the more the unit runs, the faster they load up.
