i.Zinc silicate crystals grown on a cobalt ground. The kiln is cooled to about 1,100 °C and held there for hours while they grow.
ii.It runs hard. Fire it on a catch tray or it will glue the tile to the shelf.
iii.Almost no alumina, the far bottom of the chart. Alumina would stop the crystals growing.
