i.A milky blue with no cobalt in it. Tiny droplets of glass inside the glass scatter blue light, helped along by bone ash and iron in reduction.
ii.Apply it thick. Thin, it turns brown where the iron in the glaze shows through.
iii.High silica, low alumina: below the 10 : 1 line, where glazes run and separate.
