The critic, round 3

Tierce Foundry is a clear, well-built version of telha-clarke. It keeps the black frame, the wordmark bookend with a bell cut into the O, the bracket title cards, the pill widget and a comma-separated nav. The subject is the new idea: a bell foundry shown like an architecture studio, with every image drawn in code from one bell-profile engine. The loader, the casting scrub and the dark Partials row with its vibrating wireframe are real signature moments, and test.json is clean. What keeps it from Site of the Day level is how the pages feel over a long scroll. Telha has photography, huge scale jumps and a lot of atmosphere. Here, long runs of thin line drawings on the same off-white plates look like a catalogue. Several viewports are mostly empty space with small text, and the molten accent, which should be the emotional peak, shows up as a pale peach wash.

• Strong concept that runs through the whole site: bells treated like architecture projects, with drawing-sheet title blocks (Drawing no. / Scale / Sheet) and true acoustic copy about partials, nodal meridians and loam moulding
• One engine draws everything (section drawings with hatched fill and dimension lines, revolved wireframes, mode shapes, casting stages), so the imagery stays consistent across 31 bells, the Foundry method strip and the contact page
• The loader works: a counter drives the strickle sweeping the core while the wordmark assembles, and the same band becomes the page header. The strickle-shaped route curtain is a clear twist on telha
