How it works
The AeroPress is a syringe for coffee. Grounds steep in a plastic chamber; a plunger with an airtight silicone seal pushes the water through a paper filter. The T‑1 counts each step out loud with a light, so you can stop reading your phone.
Studies (one)
Alan Adler, a retired Stanford engineering lecturer, put it on sale in 2005. He also made the Aerobie flying ring. Every box ships with 350 round paper filters. We assume you will lose the scoop.
Most bad AeroPress cups are not about the beans. They are about the forty seconds you forgot.
